Some feedback from some experiments we tried...We've done this, but it has to be a very limited context. No more three people, but the same principles apply and work. RealtimeBoard.com is what we used, alongside a video We've on Hangouts. It worked very nicely with three folks; but 1) two of us were experienced already with event storming 2) we had 2 devs and a domain expert 3) any more than three would be an issue with talking over each other too much etc.
Good points : focus was very small and we moved around the board in sync (the tool makes it quite good to notice where we are all looking with each other's cursors shown). We still revealed a LOT of information about the domain and explored uncertainties without much hindrance. Still produced value ;)
