Help to avoid MathPHP\Exception\IncorrectTypeException: Unknown matrix type: Array

Sometimes I get this error: MathPHP\Exception\IncorrectTypeException: Unknown matrix type: Array

I would like to know if there is any method in which I can check the type of the matrix beforehand, which satisfies the condition for me to execute new Linear($points) without generating the error?

Part of my code where the error occurs:
