MacOS `x86_x64` regression with `faer v22.0`

faer v22.0 packages an updated private-gemm-x86 implementation which breaks on Intel based MacOS hardware. It appears faer is in an unknown maintenance state, so it's not clear when a patch will land. As Intel-based macOS hardware is nearing EOL, this may not be a high priority issue, I've just been caught out by it.

I can confirm diffsol v0.5.3 is buildable on macOS x86_x64 hardware, so if there isn't functionality that is dependent on faer > 21.9 a possible solution is the rollback to this version.

Thanks @BradyPlanden, if you can put together a pr for faer 21.9 and see if all the tests pass that would be great.

As an aside, I never got the CI working on intel macs, so if you could add that, this would be perfect
