Cool! After looking at various alternatives I don't think I consider codegen-free a plus/feature. I don't see how you can get to NativeAOT support without it for example. Also get some additional benefits like diagnostics (they can still create an analyzer but it is more work when you start from nothing in terms of Roslyn analyzer setup).

I still think I'm willing to trade some complexity for what I view as benefits (NativeAOT, perf etc)

I don't see how with the example given in the README (open generic registration of pipeline behaviors). Had some trouble with that recently, see issue: #159

Make the response type a value type there and it will break (that is what is discussed in the linked issue above)

@martinothamar you’re right. Native AOT does not support registration of open generic types for structs. However, this limitation can be worked around by registering the concrete closed IPipelineBehavior type explicitly for the response
