Line integral rendering

I found a cosmetic difference when a line integrals are rendered:

In every math book all the integrals are never straight (vertically). I would expect the \ointctrclockwise and \varointclockwise would render like \oint.

What do you think?

The MathJax fonts don't include the glyphs for the second two integrals, so MathJax just uses unicode characters and lets your browser find the character in one of the fonts installed on your system. Apparently, the font it is finding has upright integral signs. Using characters outside the MathJax font set can lead to results that vary from user to user.

If you are using the HTML-CSS or SVG output formats, you might get better results using the STIX fonts rather than the MathJax TeX fonts, as they have greater coverage.

I'm assuming you are using the media wiki-texvc extension?

I am testing it with the https://typora.io/ editor and looking forward to integrate mathjax in a project mixing markdown and mathjax.

You will probably want to look at MathJax v3 rather than v2, which is what this repository works with. See the documentation. The documentation for web-based usage is in pretty good shape, and that is probably enough for you, but the full API is still not fully documented. There are lots of examples in the MathJax web demos and MathJax node demos repositories.
