safe to also delete local folders ?

the tool currently drop local files already present on the s3 storage.
Still the empty folders are present. I have million of them.

Is it safe to drop empty folders ? If so, adding a rmdir step would make sense

@parisni, please provide your config.
I ask because I can’t configure s3_storage_provider so that it deletes files that are uploaded to s3.
