CI run against latest deps is failing

Would guess that User sees updates to presence from other users in the incremental sync. is a flakey sytest? https://github.com/matrix-org/synapse/runs/7666896688?check_suite_focus=true

Though this did happen in monolith mode under sqlite.

This test has a flaky label on it in the sytest repo, so I think you are correct. Anything that needs to be done here or can I close this issue?

Maybe raise a sytest issue (if there isn't one already? I couldn't see one) to track the fact that this is flakey; otherwise I think we can just close this.

Nevermind I misread the test name. I don't see anything in the sytest repo about this test either, should we assume it's a flake or is there another way to proceed?

I think assume it's a flake: we've not seen other CI runs hit this.
