Modernize build & publish workflow

- Update Node LTS
- MIgrate to yarn
- Rename `master` branch to `main`
- - Use Auto? for auto-publishing?
- Migrate from Renovate to DependBot
- Migrate from nwb to ESM / Rollup? 
  - The current build tool, nwb, is a bit older with fading community development or support.
