Black screen with mame

I tried to use shaderglass on a cabinet with lcd, having various emulators, including mame, I prefer to keep the same filter for all.
Unfortunately I notice that when I start mame games I see the black screen, while with other emulators everything works fine, am I doing something wrong in the settings?

Hard to say, there's no specific settings for MAME in SG. The latest version of MAME does seem to work fine at least in my testing, try tweaking MAME video settings to see if you can get a result; things like exclusive fullscreen for example won't work with SG.
