Feature Request: Maybe API

Is there an API available or is all done through a web UI?

Having an API would allow for more integrations and scripting.

Some ideas:
Custom automations, appending transactions from bash/python scripts.
Use a local LLM to input data from natural language.
Automatic input from defi crypto wallets.
TUI for people that live on the CLI.
...

Essentially making maybe the backend of your finance with a default official web UI(that uses the API) but extensibility and ease for people to build on top of.

I'd like to be able to use it to bulk import all my data from the LunchMoney API

I need the API too. I'm planning to import my transactions data from another service. It will be much harder without the API.
Is there any recommended way to import the data into Maybe yet?

There is a CSV import you can use.

I'm trying to integrate maybe into my daily workflow so that I don't need to record everything with the WEBUI -- by daily workflows I mean utilizing common integrations like Telegram/Discord Bots to create new transaction records.

APIs related to fecthing accounts, fetching transaction records, fecthing categories, and creating new transactions are all necessities in this case. I'd really love to hear more about progresses regarding the API development.

100% would love an API, personally I'd be planning to import data from some services via api. Most likely will have some sort of script running as a service to pull and sync data
