Fixed position for tab panel button?

I have a about 15 tab panels (tab groups?) and as a result, some of them are hidden in a drop-down menu (this is fine, I only frequently use the first 8 or so and ordered them as such. When I click on the rightmost visible tab panel button, all the tab panel buttons get shifted to the right as if it's "scrolled" horizontally so now my most frequently used tab panels' buttons lose their position and I must either navigate them in the drop-down menu because they have become hidden or click on the leftmost tab panel icon to "scroll back to the left."

• Is it possible for the tab panels to be fixed so that e.g. the first tab panel is always associated with the first button?

• Is it possible for tab panel buttons to be shown multi-line? I would like to use words as texts for the tab panels but because I have so many tab panels, that would severely limit the number of visible tab panels because of limited space (with the rest being hidden behind the drop-down menu). Currently, I use 1-2 letter abbreviations as text to keep the tab panel buttons small so more can visible but it's hard to keep track of these abbreviations as opposed to words or short phrases unless I hover over it but there's also a 1-second hover delay which adds up.

• Is it possible to restrict tab panels to the current window? Sometimes when I drag it to reorganize the tab panels it somehow moves to a new window and potentially freezes the system for a brief moment because it might move its several hundreds of tabs over then I have to move it back.

You can turn off the "Show navigation bar in one line" setting (Sidebery settings / Navigation bar), then you can manually hide rarely used panels (via context menu) or/and try to use "Hide empty tab panels" and "Hide tab panel if all its tabs unloaded" settings.

Play with --nav-btn-height, --nav-icon-shift, --nav-name-size vars to get needed size/positions.

You can turn off the "Action on drag-and-drop to the outside of sidebar" setting (Sidebery settings / Drag and Drop) and use the "Alt" key when you'll need to drop to create a new window.
