Hi, this whole tutorial builds on this initial template: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Canvas_API/Tutorial/Basic_usage#a_skeleton_template so we omit the line where you invoke the function. Every tutorial just makes changes to the draw() function.
