I really appreciate your work on MediathekViewWeb – it's an excellent tool!
I have a request regarding the RSS feed functionality. Currently, it seems that when subscribing to a show's RSS feed, the link always points to the highest available video quality (e.g., full HD files that are several gigabytes in size).
For my use case, this is often not ideal. I mainly use the RSS feed to automatically download new content and listen to it later – in many cases, I don’t even need the video, or only the lowest quality version.
It would be very helpful if:
There were separate RSS feeds per quality (high, medium, low), or
There were a global setting or feed option to choose the preferred quality level for RSS entries
This would save bandwidth, disk space, and processing time for users with limited needs.
Thanks again for your work and for considering this suggestion!
