Discord's "unread messages" marker doesn't work #13
Comments
This is also present on MAC in my case. |
Confirming on Linux with beta22 |
Same with Win10 v1809/Franz v5.0.1 |
Same issue on Windows 7 x64. |
Just want to bump this same issue on Win10 (Franz 5.1.0), and that also no notification pop-ups come from the discord service. Can anyone confirm that the unread badge/notification pop-ups have worked in the past or are supposed to work currently for discord? |
I have since enabled the desktop notifications setting, which has enabled the notifications to come through Franz (duh). However, the missing unread marker is still present. |
This is still happening. When is it gonna be fixed? |
still happening, and its getting very annoying. Would love a fix ASAP |
Still happening |
Hey @ImAvafe Just as a heads up, Franz's development has practically been dropped years ago with very minor fixes since so the project has been forked and recreated by others. The current most up to date iteration is Ferdium which I'm using personally. |
I just remembered that a few versions ago Discord's "unread messages" marker stopped working.
It doesn't show up in Franz's sidebar nor on its icon in the system tray.
I'm on a 64bit Hungarian Win7 and have been running this Franz instance since 5.0, but I'd only want to reinstall it if it's really not an incompatibility.
