Discord should log me back in on Franz start up

Every other service I use does it, but discord displays login page each time I (re)start Franz.

@artm Did you ever find a solution for this? I don't get logged out when restarting Franz/Ferdi, but I get logged out of Discord after about a week with the client open.

@gschaffner nope, I haven't, but I eventually stopped using Franz

I have the same issue (about once a week on discord maybe?) and on other services as well, namely GroupMe & Android messages. Occurs on two computers that I use at about the same rate. GroupMe is the worst/most frequent culprit, I imagine it has something to do with cookies expiring.

Something that could possibly be relevant is that I reload all of my services multiple times a day, as they fail to load when I open my laptop from sleep (Ferdi tries to reconnect to services before my network connection is fully up). @nosciencehere Does this resonate with your experience?

Just a thought. In any event, I do wonder why services try to reload after waking from sleep instead of staying loaded as they would in a normal browser.

We should probably move this issue to the Franz or Ferdi main repo, since it doesn't seem to be an issue with the Discord service in particular. I'm wondering if this is an issue that affects both clients or only one — do you use Franz or Ferdi?

It looks like this issue was raised a couple times last year for Franz, for Discord in particular: meetfranz/franz#1687 meetfranz/franz#1397
