Are there any plans to support ACL? Currently there's no programmable way to make a single object accessible.

Hello Mega Devs, thank you again for releasing the S3 support with MEGA. I just wanted to ask if there are any plans to provide an API to control objects. Some services, like ShareX and S3Browser, do not support any way to make objects public with MEGA unless the entire bucket is made public. Just want to know is there's a plans to support ACL?

Hello, glad to hear you are enjoying S4.

Regarding ACLs, sadly we don't plan to support them in the short term. This is because ACLs have been mostly deprecated by AWS , and recommends using IAM policies por access control (except for a few specific use cases, like the one you mention):

A majority of modern use cases in Amazon S3 no longer require the use of ACLs. We recommend that you keep ACLs disabled, except in unusual circumstances where you need to control access for each object individually.

We might reconsider ACLs in the long term, but that would depend on S4 user's demand, and our own development resources in the future.
