Is this compatible with new "Fusion" engine?

I saw this announced yesterday:

I am not currently using either but opendbt looks great and I am wondering if the new engine causes any problems? or it just works?

@anentropic as far as i see, dbt is transitioning towards a more proprietary model. that's why opendbtproject started. "Fusion" engine license not allows it to be modified or provided as managed service.

In my view, the dbt community should consider forking the project. This would enable the creation of a truly open product, allowing for collective development and innovation. Alternatively, a company committed to open-source principles could step up to support and guide such a fork, ensuring it evolves into a more robust and community-aligned solution.
