scout mode feature request #195
Description
Good idea from other people: have a "scout mode" option for live mode. In this mode instead of running the camera/laser continuously, the camera takes a single image whenever "something changes". "Something changing" would commonly be the stage position, but it could also be the laser intensity, channel, or some other setting.
Some samples are dynamic in which case this isn't a good mode, but for static samples leaving the camera/laser running only accomplishes bleaching the sample.
