no commit badge with vcs-url and vcs-ref given

Awesome product!

but I got a problem with the commit badge!

where as:

does work,

is this because org.label-schema.vcs-ref is not used, but in stead the automated docker build git commit is?

PS: https://microbadger.com/images/microscaling/microbadger has also no commit badge!

I also tried by adding git_commit label but in vain, see https://microbadger.com/images/dgoo2308/test-docker-api

I have the same problem
