The relative_pose.position.z_val of client.simGetDetections is the value in z axis that between camera and object?

I have been testing the function client.simGetDetections() to get the relative position of the object to the camera in the airsim-car,the x_val and y_val are right,but the z_val makes me confused,is the z_va represent the location relative to the z_val of camera?
