Footer : onRenderItemColumn

Hello,

I tried to add a footer following this example : 
https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/fluentui#/controls/web/detailslist/customfooter

The row is there, but nothing in it. The onRenderItemColumn method is not executed. Any idea why ?
