[Question]: How to get Azure DevOps self-hosted agent "Update Agent" logs #5264

Describe your question

No matter whether I perform a single "Update Agent" or multiple "Update All agents" in the Agent Pools, it always ends in failure. On the self-hosted machine, the only visible information in Event Viewer is a line stating "Downloading 4.258.1 agent," but there is no further detail. In the Azure DevOps Portal, it also only shows "Downloading 4.258.1 agent" on screen, but after some time, it returns to "Idle" without updating the version.

There are no logs regarding the "Update Agent" issue, either in Portal or self-hosted environments, making it difficult to troubleshoot without log assistance.

So my question is, how can I obtain more logs about this "Update Agent" issue, either from the Portal or self-hosted environments?
