You can use this function to repoint the connection in the Direct Lake model from one lakehouse to another or to a warehouse. |

On moving the model from Lakehouse to Warehouse, facing the following error: We cannot access the source Delta table 'SchemaName.TableName' referenced by table 'SchemaName.TableName'. Either the source Delta table does not exist, or you don't have access permissions. Consider removing the table from the model. Please refer to https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2248855 for more information. Details: The source Delta table definitely exists in the table. It shouldn't be a permission issue since the Model is on top of the Warehouse that has the data. One possibility is the SourceLineageTag - it shows dbo.SchemaName.TableName, probably because the Model was first created on top of a Lakehouse. The partition still shows SchemaName.TableName. But changing the SourceLineageTag manually in Tabular editor to remove the dbo. prefix did not have any impact. |

The current version allows migrating an Import mode Model to DL on a Lakehouse.
Medallion Architecture within Fabric is often setup with Warehouse as the Gold Layer, supporting both SQL queries and Models (cooked versions of tables are usually used for the PBI reports) - support for shifting the Model to a Warehouse would be very useful.
