Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes
The issue still occurs when using Insiders build as well.
VS Code Version: 1.96.2 x64
OS Version: Arch Linux + Wayland DM
Steps to Reproduce:
Open VSCode
Everything runs fine for the first couple of seconds (everything interacts normally), and it immediately crashes 2s later. It also crashes if left alone with no interaction.
VSCode still crashes when running with --enable-platform-features or not. On a clean re-install, it still crashes.
when running with crash-reporter-directory flag, it does not give me any *.dmp files in the designated directory, but it does create some new files/directories. I have attached them here. crash_dump.zip crash logs when running with code --verbose
