Winget does not recognize that Thunderbird and Firefox 141 are already installed

Brief description of your issue

Essentially what the title says.

Both Thunderbird and Firefox were updated through the app, but winget does not recognize it.

Both show the correct version in their respective About box.

Steps to reproduce

Run winget after updating the apps individually through their respective About boxes.

Expected behavior

Recognize the correct version has already been installed

Actual behavior

Not recognizing current version already installed

the Mozilla updater sometimes has issues replacing / updating Firefox / Thunderbird

according to that Bugzilla issue, this bug should be fixed by now but from my experience the updater still throws an elevation request prompt sometimes and if the user is not an administrator then it cannot update the app or update the registry sections where WinGet searches for version information.

(i just had such an elevation prompt about 15 minutes ago, when updating Firefox Developer edition)

then i'm not sure what happens there... WinGet does not do this for me....
i have Firefox and Thunderbird 141 installed, and also firefox 142 beta (developer edition) and WinGet does not flag any of them as requiring update...

maybe there were some locked files during the update and there are some pending file rename operations for the next OS reboot? (did that system have any normal restarts since the update?)

or maybe is an issue with the locale?
or maybe with architecture platform of those apps? (x86 versions installed in parallel with x64 versions?)

today i did some update maintenance on some old systems at work... they had both Thunderbird x86 v115 and Thunderbird x64 v125 installed... i thought that was silly... two different x86 and x64 versions.... both listed separately by WinGet.
i had to remove both of those and then i could install the latest Thunderbird x64. (141 currently).
Only then did WinGet stop notifying about them.

What output do you get from running winget list thunderbird --verbose-logs --logs and can you share the log file?
