sudo pacman -S kwin systemsettings

in a terminal type:
kwin_x11 --replace &

to resort back:
xfwm4 --replace &

if working, in a terminal:

xfconf-query -c xfce4-session -p /sessions/Failsafe/Client0_Command -t string -sa kwin_x11

reboot
