Quantum supports allowing a user to add multiple subnets to a network. One use case is when you run out of IP addresses on the original subnet created for that network, you can add another block of addresses without the need to migrate users. It also allows you to utilize non-incremental blocks of IPs across one network, since we can not link two bridges together.
