Can't add content to the file

I've run this script on my Ubuntu but the output file just shows headers.
I have also changed my locale by setting hl=vi&regionCode=VN.
What need i do?

I have the same problem, I'm not sure if its because YouTube change something on their side, but also I'm not getting any error from the script

I found a workaround, have to change line 38
request_url = f'https://www.googleapis.com/youtube/v3/videos?part=id,statistics,snippet{page_token}chart=mostPopular&regionCode={country_code}&maxResults=50&key={api_key}
with
request_url = f'https://www.googleapis.com/youtube/v3/videos?part=id,statistics,snippet{page_token}chart=mostPopular&regionCode={country_code}&maxResults=50&key=TypeHereYourKey'
Its really weird, because using the original code it does adds the API key to the request_url but for some reason the json gets an error
{'error': {'errors': [{'domain': 'usageLimits', 'reason': 'keyInvalid', 'message': 'Bad Request'}], 'code': 400, 'message': 'Bad Request'}}

I compared both print(request_url) with original code and hardcoding the api key in there, and both urls are the same, actually copy each of them and paste it on the browser works fine on both

in order not to hardcode the api_key there I found another solution, I have to replace line 22
api_key = file.readline()
with
api_key = file.readline().strip()
For some reason readline() "reads" or "adds" I think a space or a newline and json throws the error
