MCP server for mne-python

Does anyone know whether there are any developments of an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for mne-python?

Maybe it's more appropriate to discuss this topic on the mailing list. But I think an MCP server for mne-python could be an interesting new feature for the future.

as far as I know, no work has yet been done on this. But it's something that has come up in discussions among the maintainers (in the context of articulating what is our policy toward LLM-assisted contributions), and hopefully we'll have something more informative to say after our annual meeting next month.

(side note: I'd consider this basically like a feature request, and so it's perfectly fine to ask here. But there's a chance that some user has hacked up their own MCP and I just don't know about it, so it wouldn't hurt to ask on https://mne.discourse.group as well.)
