Autoconfig - Internal Server Error

I have installed Modoboa V 2.6 via the installer a few days ago.
Even though I followed the steps from https://modoboa.readthedocs.io/en/latest/upgrade.html#version-2-6-0 the autoconfig did not work with Thunderbird.

Searching through logs files, i found that the endpoint /mail/config-v1.1.xml?emailaddress=... always causes --- no python application found, check your startup logs for errors ---

I figured that the problem is the nginx configuration in /etc/nginx/sites-available/autoconfig.<my-domain>.conf specifially the following block

location ~ ^/(mail/config-v1.1.xml|mobileconfig) {
        include uwsgi_params;
        uwsgi_pass modoboa;
    }

Adding uwsgi_param UWSGI_SCRIPT instance.wsgi:application; so that the block no is

location ~ ^/(mail/config-v1.1.xml|mobileconfig) {
        include uwsgi_params;
        uwsgi_param UWSGI_SCRIPT instance.wsgi:application;
        uwsgi_pass modoboa;
    }

fixed it for me. This line is not included in the template file. After this modification Thunderbird was able to read the config.
