If anyone is interested in this, I got this working on a Mac using BetterTouchTool and floating web view. The new process is a lot simpler, but it did require some setup in BTT:
If anyone is interested, just post here, and I can give more details on how to set it up. |

How cool would it be to use MonkeyType to compose your emails or messages?
I have not used Zen Mode a lot before, but after discovering it, I realized it could be used as a form of brainstorm tool to quickly type messages, with the added benefit of seeing how fast you're typing while composing. It forces you to keep typing and putting all your ideas down as they come (because you can only backspace for errors, but not insert content a few sentences before)
The challenge of using zen mode (which I used to draft this) is that copying its content and pasting it into another browser window requires several steps. Once you finish your message, you have to:
This could be greatly improved if we had a few things:
I think one of the easiest ways to accomplish this would be with a chrome extension, but the down side is that it won't work for native apps like Slack or native email apps.
Still, if people are interested, I'd love to collaborate with some people and make this a reality.
