Performance issue #3180
Description
Running motioneye on Linux (motionEye 0.42.1, Motion 4.2.2, Ubuntu 20.04 on I386):
When replaying or downloading recorded videos remotely (either directly from the webpage or via a VPN) performance is dreadful, if it plays or downloads at all.
When I RDP into a PC on the LAN and play there (hence via the same internet connection) performance is excellent.
The slowest connection in the chain is 150 mbps, server is connected at 1gbps.
I am running out of ideas - any clues anyone?
