[iPad][Intermittent] Closing tabs manually from tab tray has a delay in new sessions

Steps to reproduce:

1. Fresh install Firefox on iOS.
2. Open a few tabs such as: Wikipedia, CNN, or http://adora.ro, amazon, etsy.
3. Open Tab tray.
4. Tap the close ( X ) button on each tab.

Expected behavior:

Tabs are closed instantly.

Actual behavior:

Tabs are closed with a delay and do not react to first tap.

Device & Build Information:

• Device: iPad Mini A17 Pro (iOS 26) and iPad Pro 4th Gen (17.2)
• Build version: Firefox v145.0 (63787)
