(Fedora/Nix): QDBusArgument: write from a read-only object

I've installed mozillavpn through home-manager in a Nix environment on Fedora.

When I launch the VPN I get the following error.

QDBusArgument: write from a read-only object
[1]    9892 IOT instruction (core dumped)  mozillavpn ui

Has anyone got it running in a Nix environment?

Here's my setup.

mozillavpn 2.24.3
OS: Fedora Linux 41 (Workstation Edition) x86_64
Kernel: Linux 6.12.5-200.fc41.x86_64
DE: GNOME 47.2
WM: Mutter (Wayland)
nix (Nix) 2.25.3
