Firefox Nightly “What’s New” page: a call for localizer contributions #16836

Description

@data-sync-user

Hello Dan,

The Localization team would like to run a small experiment on the Nightly WNP. Here is the proposal outlining our pilot approach for introducing a localized call-to-action.

The initiative focuses on engaging users from select locales — ar, es-ES, es-MX, id, ja, pl, pt-BR, and ro — inviting them to join Mozilla’s localization community.

I spoke with Pascal and this seems like a rather easy experiment to implement — so wanted to check in with you to make sure we have stakeholder support. If that sounds good to you, I’d love to start connecting with the community to see if they’re on board too.

Please let me know your thoughts!

Thanks

Delphine
