Generating mpv_protocols failed without any error output

- mpv version: 0.40.0-UNKNOWN (last commit)
- Platform version: Gentoo Linux, kernel ver: 6.13.9-gentoo-dist
- Meson version: 1.8.0

Reproduction Steps

I just used the commands that were given in the README.
meson setup build -Dvulkan=false
meson compile -C build

Expected Behavior

Successful mpv build

Actual Behavior

I carefully read all instruction and confirm that I did the following:

• I tested with the latest mpv version to validate that the issue is not already fixed.
• I provided all required information including system and mpv version.
• I produced the log file with the exact same set of parameters, and conditions used in "Reproduction Steps".
• I produced the log file while the behaviors described in "Actual Behavior" were actively observed.
• I attached the full, untruncated log file.

Likely your build is using pkg-config of ffmpeg that is not in your LD_LIBRARY_PATH, so it loads something else and runtime.

Side note, someone should report this to meason, because this not flushing std streams is annoying to debug errors like that.
