A freshly installed application fails to run, giving the error pythonw: no Qt platform plugin. #2560

@myfirstusernameingithub

Description

What were you trying to do?

Run the application for the first time, right after installation.

What steps did you take to trigger the issue?

What did you expect to happen?

That the program will open and allow me to write and run code in Python.

What actually happened?

The program did not start, it gave the following error: This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized.

Operating System Version

Windows 10

Mu Version

1.1.0b2 - 1.2.0

Other Info

Tested several versions, the error appeared in versions: 1.2.0, 1.1.1, 1.1.0b3, 1.1.0b2. Most likely in the rest between these versions as well.
The error did not occur in versions: 1.0, 1.1.0-alpha.2.

I changed my Windows account name, thinking that the program only supports Latin characters in file paths. It didn't help.

A distinctive feature of the versions was the installers, which in successful attempts (1.0 and 1.1.0.0-alpha.2) gave the option to choose the installation path, and I installed the program in Program Files not on the system disk.
