This is not covered in the 2012 guidelines. Special problem: How to define on which line/space a note should be? @-pname/@oct are logically wrong, and with a percussion clef we wouldn't even have a reference pitch.

After the basic review of the guidelines to match MEI v4 we could introduce a new Repertoire chapter for percussion. Do you have anyone in mind who encodes percussion notation in MEI and could write that chapter?
