Vido quality on preview

Is it possible to add a video quality option to the video player? now I think it's automatic, but maybe a setting where you can choose between auto and the video qualities available. Thank you

This is a bit complicated as twitch only offers us a webview and they like to set the quality automatically, also sometimes twitch only offers one quality because they don't offer any kind of transcoding. I'll have to see what the best way to address this is.

Any news for this? often maybe a person forgets the preview and can consume a lot of GB if auto quality (maybe set to 1080) in the end for the preview a 360 or 480 at most would be enough. thanks

https://github.com/muxable/rtchat/blob/main/lib/components/stream_preview.dart#L236 on android we can set it to 160p however really because twitch limits us to a frame which they control I can't do much else. I could force close the player after a set amount of time instead?

can't you put at least 360p or 480p? 160p is too poor in my opinion, great idea that after a certain amount of time the preview automatically closes (maybe 1 min or as desired)

The app is built for multiple disconnections and to be as light as possible and the preview is usually used to see if you haven't disconnected, increasing to 360p by default would use three time as much data usage, https://old.reddit.com/r/Twitch/comments/1k369ub should give you an idea of how much is being used right now at 160p.

I have an idea of what to work in now but it won't be the priority right now since each platform handles things differently which creates a lot of complexities.
