Use tom_pittgoogle to fetch data

tom_pittgoogle is our plugin for the TOM Toolkit (which uses Django under the hood, as does this website), so potentially it could be used here to fetch data for the Recent Alerts and Recent Objects pages. The tom_pittgoogle repo would likely need some work, though right now it does contain working implementations for both Pub/Sub (recent alerts?) and BigQuery (recent objects?).

Just wanted to register this as an option. I know it's not the only option and that some prior work has been done in this area, though I don't know enough to have an opinion about what might work best.
