I have a lg washer and dryer connected to this. Is there a way to have HomePod mini announce when either one of them is done with their cycle ? Had this feature when I used Alexa.

I have been looking at various ways to do this for a while. The best I have come up is to use homebridge-virtual-accessories to setup a virtual door bell. Then I use an automation that rings that door bell when the program finished occupancy sensor from this plugin is activated. (I set it to only do this during the day).

Thanks. I think I've figured it out. I went online and used a free text to voice generator to create 2 sound files. "Your dryer is done" and "your washer is done". I then saved them to my Apple Music account. Then went into the Home app on my iPhone and created an automation when the sensor detects motion that sound file is played to the home pod. It's been working great.
