Hello, been running this integration for almost a year now and I am very happy. I will be expanding my solar and that means replacing the 2 string H1-6-E (G1) inverter with a 3 string KH8. Any advice on how to go about this without causing any problems? Do I have to delete the integration and start over or just slap the new inverter in and pv3 entities will magically come to life? It would be nice if I could keep the old entity names as I have a lot of helpers and automations depending on them and would prefer to avoid having to edit everything. Thank you. |

No need to delete the integration. You'll have to remove the old inverter then add the new one, but your entities will stay: ones which are applicable to the KH will pick up, old ones will become unused, and new ones for pv3 etc will appear. Take a backup to be sure! |
