Has the poll rate changed with the latest update?

Hi, I didn't want to open an issue for it, since I don't know if I'm remembering something wrong. I'm pretty sure the poll rate was pretty fast before the last update, now it's up in the minutes for data like battery charge and so on - is there any way to influence the behaviour?

It might not be poll speed, i’ve seen this already with someone else that upgraded to the latest version.

Go to Settings, Devices & Services, click on ‘>‘ next to the Foxess modbus integration, click CONFIGURE, Advanced Settings

Is the round sensor values option set ? - if it is unset it.

You can also set your poll rate there, but i’m betting it is the Rounding option.

I know I thought the same, but the user was convinced the option wasn't on before and it was afterwards - i've not seen it on any system that I have upgraded, just the one so far....

No it wasn't set, but what I did was activate the option and deactivate it again and reload the integration, it seems to update faster now (between 20-30s for Battery Discharge for example). It's cloudy today, so I'll experiment with the options when there's more action with the inverter, thanks for the tip!

P.S.: Seems to vary for different registers. Battery voltage for example is still in the minutes

Note that HA only updates its "last updated" time if the register has changed, not every time it's polled. If your battery voltage is stable, then don't expect it to change very often.

Thanks I'll keep it in mind and will only report back if there's further weird behavior. It only came up today because the battery was being charged and the values didn't update for the actual power. Seems to work now. Thanks for the help!
