No connection after unplugging and replugging RS485 to USB #912

Yesterday, I wanted to test connecting a Skyconnect stick, as I don't use Zigbee yet. So I pulled the Modbus converter out of 1 and connected Skyconnect to USB 2 with a USB extension cable. Then I had a problem, as my Foxess inverter was no longer supplying data via Modbus. I restarted everything (inverter and HA), but nothing changed. My attempts with Zigbee were over for the time being; I had to get Modbus up and running again first. I searched around forever until I saw a note in some Foxess Modbuss log that said something like “Not able to fully reserve /dev/ttyUSB0” (or something similar). A Google search helped me figure out that it seemed to be caused by two devices colliding on the USB data stream. I unplugged the SkyConnect and Modbus worked again. Can anyone help me figure out what I need to adjust so that both devices can work? Translated with DeepL.com (free version) |

Hello everyone!
I hope someone can help me. I have a USB to RS485 adapter. The device has been working for over half a year without any problems. I have just removed the USB adapter from the Raspberry Pi as I needed to access the USB socket behind it. I then plugged the adapter back in, but Home Assistant no longer receives any data. I have already restarted Home Assistant and restarted the entire Raspberry. I have also restarted the inverter, but nothing helps.
I see the following error message in Home Assistant:
What do I have to do to re-establish or activate the connection?
