Can't change status bar content

Great theme, just one issue:

I want to add robhurring/tmux-spotify in my status bar, after adding these two lines:

set -g @plugin 'robhurring/tmux-spotify'
set -g status-right "♫ #{music_status} #{artist}: #{track}"

I was expecting to see the track name in there, but after showing it for .5 seconds, it changes to pimux content 26/52 | 0:0.1

What should I do?
