On mac silicon the suggestion dropdown freezes after it is opened

This only happens when I edit tsx files in coc-vim (not in msft code).

I have to Ctrl + ^C to kill whatever it is doing in order for vim to be responsive again

Can't reproduce, try minimal vimrc with coc.nvim and coc-tsserver only.

The popup menu can be really slow on vim9 sometimes, it's improve on neoclide/coc.nvim#5325
And the highlights from coc.nvim have improved by use vim9. Try profile your vim https://github.com/neoclide/coc.nvim/wiki/F.A.Q#how-can-i-profile-vim.

BTW, some syntax plugins for tsx can be really slow, try to disable them.
