Push Notification on Android without Google services #5457

Missing Push Notification (for example through NextPush, already implemented and working for other apps, like element X) when using Talk on Android without Google Services.
Describe the solution you'd like
Implementation of Notification through NextPush, so that Google is not hte only option.
Additional context
the app currently says "Google Play Services currently unavailable. Notifications not supported". Version 22.0.2 (20251016) running on android 15 (LineageOS, no Google apps/services).
With the latest Google move forcing to track down any developer and blocking sideloading of apps that didn't go through their data-harvesting machine, alternatives to Google "services" must be considered necessary, not any more an option.
