Support for Critical Notifications on iOS

It would be great If single Chats / Groupchats can be marked as critical, so that Critical Notifications can send to devices.

thank you for your enhancement request :)
This might indeed be useful, although it is currently not on our roadmap. The latest version of Talk (21.1) added "Important conversations", that ignore the Nextcloud-side "do-not-disturb" settings. I am wondering what your expectations of adding "critical notifications" would be:

• Would that be corresponding to "Important conversations", so a message in an important conversation is treated as a critical notification?

or

• Would that be a dedicated setting, independent of "Important conversations"? But that would mean, it is a device-only setting and is not bound the the account.

thanks for answering.

We use Nextcloud Talk in our schools. In the past days I have received the request how to realize an "emergency chat" for rampages, etc. For this, the critical notifications would be necessary, as they bypass all DnD settings of the end devices. Only bypassing the Nextcloud DnD would not help in this case.
