Add a challenge in the splitting & grouping training to simplify the code

The grouping and splitting training is using code duplication to clarify some concepts which could be simplified for a cleaner implementation. While it makes sense to leave this for teaching purposes, we can add a Rob-style challenge for students to try and simplify the implementation
