I think no. The second parameter is already encoding. Because Tremolo focused on data/encoding rather than that mind.

If you want a shortcut probably the suitable way is to use HTTPException and support code 301 - 302.

@app.route('/example')
async def redirect_handler(response, **server):
    raise Redirect(location='http://new', code=301)
